Dawn Land Rover tour

Take a tour into the hills with one of our experienced game-keepers and see the stunning landscape bathed in morning light and mist. Listen to the sounds of the dawn chorus and have the opportunity to see wildlife including black grouse, red deer, birds of prey and red squirrels in their natural habitats.

Every Saturday from 22 March until 31 May 2008 (excluding 24 May) 7.30am – 10.00am

Every Saturday from 7 June until 28 June 2008 6.30am – 9.00am

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 30 June until Friday 29 August 2008 (excluding Friday 22 August & Monday 25 August) 6.30am – 9.00am

Every Saturday from 6 September until 25 October 2008 (these October tours cover the deer rut and roaring stags) 7.30am – 10.00am

Cost: £25 adults, £15 children (up to the age of 18 – must be accompanied by an adult)

Dusk Land Rover tour

See the evening wildlife of the hills on this tour led by one of our experienced game-keepers. With spectacular views of the lowering sun, you may see grouse, deer and birds of prey in their natural habitats. Owls, pine martens, woodcock and snipe are all venturing out at this time of the evening.

Every Saturday from 4 October until 25 October 2008 (these tours cover the deer rut and roaring stags) 3.00pm – 5.30pm

These are the tours available for private / group bookings:

Out on the hill (with a game-keeper)

Spend the day on the hills beyond Blair Atholl with one of our experienced game-keepers and see the Scottish wildlife in its natural habitat. Discover how the Atholl landscape has been managed over the generations. Travel in a Land Rover (maximum 6 guests) onto the hill and use traditional stalking techniques to get close to some fantastic wildlife including red deer, birds of prey, grouse, mountain hare and red squirrels. A picnic lunch will be provided. The tour takes five hours and will usually depart at 10.00am.

This 5 hour tour costs £300 for up to 6 people including a picnic lunch.

Wildlife Land Rover tour (with a game-keeper)

Take a shorter 2.5 hour wildlife Land Rover tour with one of our game-keepers. These tours are available as a dawn, dusk or daytime option at a time to suit you (subject to availability).

This 2.5 hour tour costs £150 for up to 6 people. Should you wish to include any catering, this may be available at additional cost.

Booking conditions:

Land Rover tours can be booked by prior arrangement subject to availability. A deposit of 25% is payable by credit/debit card on booking, with final payment taken on the day of the tour. This deposit is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the tour, the full amount will be charged. Full terms & conditions available on booking. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
