Explore the hidden glens

Explore the hidden glens of Atholl normally out of reach for most walkers on this tour led by one of our estate rangers. The tour takes you by Land Rover into the hills above Blair Atholl to discover the wildlife and plants of this spectacular landscape and savour the stunning views.

Dates & times:

Monday 24 March and Wednesday 26 March 2008 10.00am – 12.30pm

Saturday 19 April, Saturday 17 May, Sunday 21 June, Saturday 20 September 2008 2.00pm – 4.30pm

Every Wednesday from 2 July until 27 August 2008 2.00pm – 4.30pm

Every Sunday from 6 July until 31 August 2008 (excluding 24 August) 10.00am – 12.30pm

Cost: £25 adults, £15 children.

This tour is suitable for children over the age of 12. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Explore the Glens (with a ranger)

Explore the hidden glens normally out of reach for most walkers on this tour led by one of our estate rangers. The tour starts with a Land Rover drive high into the hills above Blair Atholl followed by an optional walk discovering the wildlife and plants of this spectacular landscape and savouring the stunning views. Groups can choose to take a tour of 2.5 or 5 hours duration.

The tour costs £150 for up to 6 people for the 2.5 hour tour, or £300 for up to 6 people for the 5 hour tour including a picnic lunch.

Discover Loch Ordie (with a ranger)

Take a Land Rover tour into the hills beyond Dunkeld and discover Loch Ordie, with an optional walk around the loch. Surrounded by pine forest covered hills, Loch Ordie is a prime bird-watching site with osprey often sighted during the season. This tour is only available as a 5 hour option.

This tour costs £300 for up to 6 people including a picnic lunch.

Glens & Loch Ordie tours can be booked by prior arrangement subject to availability. A deposit of 25% is payable by credit/debit card on booking, with final payment taken on the day of the tour. This deposit is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the tour, the full amount will be charged. Full terms & conditions available on booking. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
