Hill Tour with a game-keeper

Spend the day on the hills beyond Blair Atholl with one of our experienced game-keepers and see wildlife in their natural habitats. Discover how the Atholl landscape has been managed over the generations.

Travel in a landrover (maximum 8 guests) onto the hill and use traditional stalking techniques to perhaps capture a photograph of Scotland’s majestic red deer – the ‘Monarch of the Glen’. A picnic lunch will be provided.

Children
Children are welcome on this tour*. As a commercial vehicle we do not provide booster seats, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. Please let us know when booking. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Group bookings
Private hill tour bookings are also welcomed on other dates by prior arrangement (subject to availability). The minimum fee payable will be £250 for up to 5 people. For each additional person, up to a maximum of 8 people, £50 will be payable.

* Children weighing under 15kg (33lbs) cannot join this tour due to car seat legislation

Family Land Rover Tours

Dawn Tour

Take a tour into the hills and see the morning wildlife including black grouse and deer.
Tour departs from Blair Castle Caravan Park.

Friday mornings until 10 August – 7.30am – 9.30am

Evening Tour

See the evening wildlife in the hills, with spectacular views of the lowering sun. Tour departs from Blair Castle Caravan Park.

Wednesday evenings until 8 August – 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Cost £17.50 adults, £10 children (up to age of 16).
