Caravan Parks in Scotland               

Will reopen from Monday 27th February until Monday 26th November 2012

One of the best-equipped caravan parks in Scotland and only 7 miles from the market town of Pitlochry, the Blair Castle site features spectacular mountain scenery, combined with five-star visitor facilities, first-class accommodation, and thoughtfully placed amenities.

There are 182 hard standing and grass pitches available and the park welcomes motorhomes, touring caravans and campers. Alternatively guests can relax and unwind in one of the park's twenty Thistle Caravan Holiday Homes.

Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, Blair Castle Caravan Park offers a breathtaking setting for wildlife spotting, walking and cycling. There is a 40 mile network of way-marked trails to explore and opportunities to go fishing, pony trekking, on land rover safari or to take a vintage tractor and trailer ride are close by. Animal lovers will enjoy regular visits from native red squirrels, which can often be seen throughout the park. All park guests also receive discounted entry to Blair Castle.

Other regional attractions include retail emporium The House of Bruar, the Highland Wildlife Park, the Highland Folk Museum, Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Edradour and Bells Blair Athol distilleries, Cairngorm Mountain's funicular railway, Queens View and the historic towns of Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Dunkeld.

Caravan Park Facilities

Blair Castle Caravan Park features a modern multi-purpose reception building which houses a games room, small shop, internet gallery with wi-fi access and a launderette.

Games Room: Pool table, table tennis, table football and wii games consoles for hire.

Shop: Stocking a range of everyday essentials as well as the estate's own Atholl Glens organic burgers and sausages.

Launderette: Machines for washing and drying clothes as well as a drying room with lockable cages for outdoor clothing.

Outdoor Fun: Minature football pitch, putting green and children's play area. There is also a 9 acre green open space at the centre of the park for recreation and games.

Atholl Hair and Beauty Room: Hair styling, massages, alternative therapies and beauty treatments available on site.

Toilet and Shower Blocks: The park’s five toilet and shower blocks are all heated, with individual cubicles, showers, baby changing rooms and dishwashing areas.
