Jubilee Rifle Range
The Jubilee Rifle Range (in lower Glen Tilt, beyond Blairuachadair) has a shooting programme throughout the summer months. This is usually short-range shooting and does not affect access. On a few days each year, there are long-range shoots, when access must be restricted for your safety. On these days, signs are put up at the Glen Tilt Car Park and beyond, and diversions given.
THE TRACK THROUGH THE RIFLE RANGE WILL BE CLOSED WHEN LONG-RANGE SHOOTING IS TAKING PLACE.
THE RIFLE RANGE WILL THEREFORE BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS IN 2012:
Wed 11 April (pm only), Sun 15 April, Sun 22 April, Sun 29 April, Sat 5 May, Sun 6 May, Sat 12 May, Sat 26 May, Sun 27 May, Sat 2 June, Sun 3 June, Sun 10 June, Thurs 14 June, Sun 17 June, Sun 24 June, Fri 29 June, Sat 30 June, Sun 1 July, Sun 19 August, Sat 26 August, Sat 8 Sept, Sun 9 Sept, Sun 16 Sept, Sun 30 Sept, Sat 6 Oct, Sun 7 Oct.

Access through the range is safe on these days, providing you keep to the main track.
