Glenfiddich Fiddle Finale

This year we celebrate 27 years of the flddling championship at this the final year of the event.
Liz Maxwell of Wm. Grant & Son, said: "The main aim of the Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship was to encourage, stimulate and perpetuate the art of fiddle playing throughout the country and we are proud to have accomplished this."
Chief Executive of the William Grant Foundation, Nick Addington, said: “We’re extremely grateful to everyone who has helped to make the Fiddle Championship such a special event over the years. I hope many people will join us at Blair Castle on Sunday, 30th October as we welcome back many former Glenfiddich fiddle champions to celebrate the wonderful tradition of Scottish fiddle music and the talents of its best contemporary performers. I am sure it will be a fitting finale.”
The competition takes place in Blair Castle's historic ballroom and is open to spectators. Blair Castle’s Tullibardine Restaurant will be open to spectators for lunches, light snacks and beverages throughout the competition.
Times: Commences promptly at 1.30pm and finishes around 5.30pm.
