Administration

The Estate’s operations are managed by an executive that falls into two groups; tourism and rural enterprises, supported by corporate services (financial control and IT) and property maintenance. Each operating team reports to a Head of Group who in turn reports to the General Manager. The executive reports to a Board of Trustees.

Administration is based at the estate office which is located just south of Blair Castle although the Caravan Park and Castle have their own satellite offices on site.

10 clerical staff support the management team in the three offices and undertake the wide range of administration work which our diverse business creates.

Financial control and sales operate from a networked accounting and administrative system, connected by wi-fi between the three offices. On average over 20,000 financial transactions are made each year for ten separate businesses making up what is referred to as Atholl Estates.
